Dr. Dara Ayoade is a compassionate and highly experienced psychiatric nurse practitioner who is deeply committed to supporting individuals on their mental health journey. He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice in Psychiatric Mental Health from George Mason University in Virginia.
With over a decade of experience, Dara has had the privilege of working with children, teens, and adults across a variety of settings—including hospitals, outpatient clinics, private practices, and community mental health programs in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. His diverse clinical background includes work at Sheppard Pratt Hospital, People Encouraging People, Way Station, Riverside Mental Health Clinic, and Community of Hope.
Dara specializes in treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. He believes in meeting each person where they are—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—and tailoring care to their unique needs and goals. His approach is holistic, rooted in evidence-based practices and grounded in empathy and respect.

Outside of the clinic, Dara enjoys reading, exploring new places, and spending quality time with his family. He is licensed to provide care in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.
